2022: Immigration Updates

100 Successful Candidates this year.

It has been a busy and productive year for Altitude CBI & Residency. Upwards of 100 successful candidates as the year draws to an end. Most popular programs have been the UK, Canada, Portugal and the Caribbean countries. As the Altitude family grows, we thank all our clients for their trust and faith in handling their cases for them and their families.

UK Overseas representative visa replaced by the Expansion worker visa.

An interesting overhaul of the UK programs happened earlier this year when the Overseas Representative Visa. One of the most popular programs. Was replaced by the Expansion Worker program. The language requirement has been removed and the requirements eased. A good start to the year.

Turkey minimum investment increased from $250K to 400K.

In a surprise move by the Turkish government the investment amount of the Citizenship by Investment program has been raised to $400K. As we understand this is due to the popularity and huge demand of the Turkish Citizenship by Investment program.

Greece to increase minimum investment from 250K Euros to 500K.

Greece is currently considering increasing the Citizenship by Investment program from 250K Euros to 500K Euros bringing it up to par with the rest of Europe. Making it no longer one of the cheapest options in the region.

St. Lucia now open to Iranian Nationals.

A happy development in St. Lucia Citizenship by Investment Program as they open their doors and welcome applications from Iranian nationals. Positive outcomes forecasted for this Caribbean country.

UAE introduces 10-year Golden Visa.

As the UAE sees a huge influx of new residents come to its welcoming shores the economy grows substantially. The UAE has implemented its 10-year Golden Visa program welcoming investors with a small investment of 2m AED into a property. Investors looking for a tax friendly, stable, and hospitable destination are moving their families and business to the UAE. A great opportunity for expats to take advantage of.
